Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is God's revealed truth to humanity, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, Scripture is without error in its original writings and serves as the final authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct.

The Bible reveals God's plan of salvation through Jesus Christ and provides everything necessary for life, godliness, and spiritual growth. It is living and active, speaking truth into every generation and guiding believers in righteousness. Through the Word of God, we come to know His character, His promises, and His will for our lives.

We believe that both the Old and New Testaments work together as a unified revelation of God's redemptive plan. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture points to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Bible is not only to be read, but to be studied, believed, and applied, allowing it to transform our hearts and shape our lives according to God's truth.

As believers, we are called to build our lives upon the foundation of God's Word. It is through Scripture that we are taught, corrected, and equipped for every good work. We rely on the Holy Spirit to help us understand and apply the Bible, trusting that God's Word will never fail and will accomplish His purposes.

We believe there is one true and living God who is the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of all mankind. He is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. God is holy, just, and righteous, yet full of love, mercy, and grace. He reveals Himself to us so that we may know Him personally and walk in relationship with Him.

We believe that God has revealed Himself as a Trinity, one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and distinct in person, yet perfectly united in essence, nature, and purpose. The Father is the source and sustainer of all life, the Son is the Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit is the one who dwells within believers, empowering and guiding them.

God the Father is loving and faithful, drawing people to Himself and desiring that none should perish but that all would come to repentance. He is the giver of every good gift and the one who calls us into a relationship through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe that God is worthy of all worship, honor, and obedience. Our lives are to be lived in response to who He is: loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving others as He has loved us.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He is the second person of the Trinity, equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, taking on human flesh while remaining without sin. He is the perfect revelation of God to humanity and the only Savior of the world.

Jesus lived a sinless and perfect life, demonstrating God's love, truth, and power. Through His teachings, miracles, and compassion, He revealed the heart of the Father and called people to repentance and faith. Though He was without sin, He willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, dying on the cross in our place so that we might be forgiven and reconciled to God.

We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead on the third day, conquering sin, death, and the grave. His resurrection is the foundation of our faith and the assurance of eternal life for all who believe in Him. After His resurrection, He ascended into heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for believers.

Through Jesus Christ alone, we receive salvation. He is the only way to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. By grace through faith in Him, we are forgiven, made new, and brought into a restored relationship with God. His work on the cross is complete and sufficient for all who believe.

We also believe that Jesus will return again in power and glory. He will come to gather His church and ultimately establish His eternal kingdom. This promise gives us hope and calls us to live faithfully, sharing the Gospel and living in anticipation of His return.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, fully God and equal with the Father and the Son. He is active in the world today, revealing God's presence and power, and working in the hearts and lives of people. The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force, but a divine person who teaches, guides, comforts, and empowers believers.

The Holy Spirit is essential in bringing people to salvation. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, drawing individuals to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, bringing new life, assurance of salvation, and the ongoing work of transformation.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, as taught in the Scriptures. This empowering of the Spirit enables believers to live bold, Spirit-filled lives and to be effective witnesses for Christ. The initial physical evidence of this baptism is speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, as seen in the early church.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers with spiritual gifts for the building up of the church and the advancement of God's kingdom. These gifts include, but are not limited to, wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation. These gifts are given according to God's will and are to be exercised in love and unity.

In addition to empowering believers, the Holy Spirit produces spiritual fruit in our lives. As we yield to Him, our character is transformed to reflect Christ more fully, producing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Spirit leads us into truth, strengthens us in our walk with God, and equips us to live holy and obedient lives.

We believe that humanity was created by God in His image and likeness, uniquely designed for relationship with Him. From the beginning, God created man and woman with purpose, dignity, and the capacity to know, love, and serve Him. As image-bearers of God, every human life has inherent value and worth.

However, we believe that through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin entered the world, resulting in the fall of humanity. Because of this, all people are born with a sinful nature and are separated from God. Sin has affected every part of human life, leading to spiritual death and the need for redemption. Left on our own, we are unable to restore ourselves to a right relationship with God.

We believe that humanity's greatest need is salvation through Jesus Christ. Only through His sacrifice on the cross can we be forgiven of sin and reconciled to God. By grace, through faith in Jesus, we are made new, restored, and given eternal life. This transformation is not achieved by human effort, but by the power of God working in us.

Although fallen, we believe that God continues to pursue humanity with love and offers redemption to all. Every person has the opportunity to respond to God's grace and receive the gift of salvation. Through Christ, our identity is restored, and we are called to live lives that reflect God's character and purposes.

We also believe that as believers grow in Christ, they are being continually transformed into His likeness. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to turn from sin, live in righteousness, and fulfill God's purpose for our lives. This process of spiritual growth reflects God's desire not only to save us, but to renew us completely.

We believe that every person is created with an eternal soul and will live forever, either in the presence of God or separated from Him. Eternity is a reality for all humanity, and the choices we make in this life, especially regarding Jesus Christ, determine our eternal destiny. God, in His love, has made a way for all people to receive eternal life through faith in His Son.

We believe that those who place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will spend eternity with God in heaven. This eternal life is not only a future promise but begins at the moment of salvation. In heaven, believers will experience the fullness of God's presence, perfect joy, peace, and everlasting fellowship with Him.

We also believe that those who reject God's offer of salvation will face eternal separation from Him. This separation, often described in Scripture as hell, is a place of judgment for sin. God does not desire that anyone should perish, but He honors the free will of individuals, allowing each person to choose whether to receive or reject His gift of grace.

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, often referred to as the Blessed Hope. He will come again to gather His church, and ultimately to judge the living and the dead. This promise gives believers hope, encourages holy living, and reminds us of the urgency of sharing the Gospel with others.

Following the final judgment, God will establish a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells. In this eternal state, all things will be made new, and believers will live forever in the presence of God, free from sin, sorrow, and death. This is the ultimate fulfillment of God's plan of redemption.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct and subsequent experience to salvation, given to believers who seek God with sincere hearts. This experience was promised by Jesus and fulfilled in the early church, and it is available to all believers today. The baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers Christians to live boldly for Christ and to be effective witnesses in the world.

We believe that this baptism is an immersion in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, equipping believers for service, ministry, and spiritual growth. It deepens a believer's relationship with God and strengthens their ability to live a Spirit-led life marked by faith, obedience, and power.

According to Scripture, the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This experience is not an end in itself, but a beginning of a more dynamic and Spirit-empowered life, enabling believers to operate in spiritual gifts and fulfill God's purposes.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit leads to a greater sensitivity to God's voice, a deeper hunger for His presence, and a more effective prayer life. It empowers believers to proclaim the Gospel with boldness and to minister in the power of the Spirit, just as the early church did.

While all believers receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, we believe this additional experience is a gift from God that should be desired and pursued. It is given by grace and received by faith, and it remains an essential part of the believer's walk in living a victorious and Spirit-filled life.

We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel and is provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ. Through His suffering and sacrifice on the cross, Jesus not only made a way for the forgiveness of sins, but also for the healing of our bodies. Healing is a demonstration of God's compassion, power, and desire to restore His people.

We believe that God is still able and willing to heal today. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power has not changed. Divine healing may come through prayer, the laying on of hands, the anointing with oil, or through the sovereign work of God. While healing is not always immediate or according to our expectations, we trust in God's wisdom, timing, and purposes.

We believe that healing is received by faith in Jesus Christ. As we come to God in prayer, we ask with confidence, knowing that He hears us and cares for us. We are encouraged to bring our needs before Him and to believe in His ability to heal, while also submitting to His will in all things.

We also believe that divine healing is both a present reality and a future promise. While God heals in this life, the ultimate fulfillment of healing will come when we are fully restored in His presence, free from all sickness, pain, and suffering. This gives us hope, even in the midst of trials, knowing that God's redemptive work is complete and ongoing.

As a church, we are committed to praying for the sick and believing God for healing, while offering compassion, support, and encouragement to those who are suffering. We trust that God works in every situation, bringing comfort, strength, and restoration according to His perfect will.

We believe that God has a clear and sovereign plan for the future, and that history is moving toward the fulfillment of His purposes. Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ will return again in power and glory, and this promise is central to our faith. His return is our blessed hope, encouraging us to live with expectation, faithfulness, and urgency in sharing the Gospel.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to gather His church, often referred to as the rapture. At this time, believers will be caught up to meet the Lord and will be with Him forever. This event reminds us to remain spiritually ready, living lives that honor God and reflect His truth.

Following His return, we believe that Jesus Christ will ultimately establish His kingdom and reign in righteousness. He will bring justice, restore what has been broken, and fulfill every promise of God. His rule will be perfect, and His authority will be recognized over all creation.

We believe that there will be a final judgment for all people. Those who have placed their faith in Christ will enter into eternal life with God, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation. This truth underscores the importance of salvation and the call to respond to God's grace.

We also believe in the promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where God will dwell with His people forever. In this eternal state, there will be no more sin, sorrow, pain, or death. All things will be made new, and believers will experience the fullness of joy and peace in God's presence.

As followers of Christ, the promise of the future gives us hope and direction. It calls us to live with purpose, to remain steadfast in our faith, and to look forward to the day when we will be with the Lord forever.
