About CVA
Our Vision
CVA’s vision is to reach the Foresthill Divide with the life‑changing good news of Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to be a Spirit‑filled body of believers who reach up in worship, reach out in ministry, and grow daily in our walk with Christ. We are committed to serving God, caring for one another, and impacting our community with His love.
Reach Up
Worship is at the center of who we are. We lift our hearts, voices, and lives to God because He alone is worthy of our worship. In our services, we create space for the Holy Spirit to move freely — allowing people to worship with joy, freedom, and authenticity.
Reach Out
We extend Christ’s love beyond the walls of the church — meeting people where they are and pointing them to Jesus. This includes local outreach, community care, and opportunities to serve through missions trips.
Grow
Through discipleship, Bible studies, Parenting classes and meaningful relationships, we help individuals and families build a strong, lasting foundation in their faith.
Serve
God has uniquely gifted every person. We help people discover and use those gifts to make a real difference in the church and in our community.
Growing Together
Spiritual Growth Is A Lifelong Journey
Spiritual growth is a lifelong journey, and we walk it side‑by‑side. Through discipleship, Bible studies, and real relationships, we help each other build a strong faith that shows up at home, at work, and throughout the Foresthill Divide.
Serving Others
The Hands And Feet Of Jesus
We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus. God has gifted each of us uniquely, and we love helping people use those gifts to make a difference. Whether through local outreach, missions, or simply caring for one another, we serve our community with compassion and purpose.
Above All
Our Vision Is Centered On Jesus
Jesus is the foundation of our faith, the source of our hope, and the reason we do everything at CVA. Our prayer is that Canyon View Assembly will always be a place of acceptance and hope — where lives are changed, faith is strengthened, and God is glorified in all things.
