Iron Sharpens Iron
Midweek at Canyon View Assembly is a time to grow deeper in your faith and stay connected throughout the week. We offer a variety of gatherings for every stage of life, including Bible studies, prayer group, Hill Climbers, CVA Youth, our monthly food giveaway, and Pathway to Renewal.
Each group is designed to help you build relationships, find encouragement, and grow in your walk with Christ — whether you're seeking community, support, or a deeper understanding of God's Word. No matter where you are in life, there is a place for you here during the week.
Midweek At CVA
Something For Every Stage Of Life
From youth and adults to support groups and outreach, each option is designed to help you connect, grow, and walk alongside others in your faith throughout the week.
Bible Studies
Our Bible studies provide a place to dive deeper into God's Word, ask questions, and grow in your understanding of Scripture. Through teaching and discussion, you'll be encouraged and equipped to live out your faith each day.

Our Prayer Group is a time to come together, seek God, and lift one another up. In this peaceful midweek gathering, we pray over needs, encourage one another, and trust God to move in our lives, our families, and our community.

Hill Climbers
Hill Climbers is a warm, welcoming group for ages 55 and over — potluck, fellowship and connection on the third Wednesday of each month at 12pm in the sanctuary.

Where students can grow to be who God made them. CVA Youth meets every Wednesday night from 7:30–9:00 PM, plus conferences, summer camps, and more.

Our food giveaway is a way we serve our community by providing support to individuals and families in need. Through this outreach, we share compassion, care, and the love of Christ in a practical way.

Pathway to Renewal is a Christ-centered group designed to help individuals find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Through biblical teaching, support, and community, you'll be encouraged to experience healing, restoration, and lasting transformation.

Building One Another In Faith
As Iron Sharpens Iron
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). God never intended for us to follow Him in isolation — the Christian life is built in community, where we are known, challenged and encouraged.
Scripture calls us to not give up meeting together, but to encourage one another, and all the more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24–25). Our midweek gatherings exist for exactly that: to keep us connected to God and to each other between Sundays.
